Meditation, Breathwork and Somatic Processing
Immersive Retreat
Feb 9th-16th, 2026
Playa Azul | Costa Rica

Why this retreat? Why should you embark on this Healing Journey with us? Why would you want to come and meet the parts you’d rather avoid, hide or stuff down?
Because what is left unhealed repeats and what we resist persists!
Before we took this human form, we looked down on the earth in all of our radiance and connection. We were clear about our karmic purpose and innate gifts.
From this place of pure grace and love, no obstacle or challenge along our life‘s path seemed insurmountable. There wasn't a thought of being a victim of circumstance. We knew life wasn't happening to us, but rather, it was happening through and for us. Yet, no matter this inherent understanding, we inevitably found ourselves enmeshed in the human experience of suffering (anxiety, stress, resentments, relationship problems, money challenges, illness and so forth).
We came here with a karmic contract and divine purpose; we are here to love and be loved without condition.
The path to dismantling our barriers to love is a process of meeting that which we try to avoid. The obstacle is the way. The only way out is through.
Join us to meet yourself, and reawaken this deep truth. It’s time to live the life you came here to live.

We’ll use Mantra Meditation, Conscious Breathwork, Intuitive Movement, Somatic Processing, and Conscious Community as sacred tools to meet and integrate our stress, pain and trauma. You will discover that your challenges are divine steppingstones to your conscious evolution and awakening.
It's time to remember who you really are and honour all that brought you to this critical turning point.

I was apprehensive at first. I knew deep down I would need to bring all of myself: my deepest insecurities, real authenticity and the courage to meet the darkest parts of myself, which had been keeping me separate and in fear. Because Keli was a kind, gentle soul that guided me home to the safety and the truth of my Being—I was able to go so deep into my process and meet the darkness—all I had made up about myself and the world. In this meeting, there was a holy encounter where the darkness just evaporated into love. The relief and joy from this experience cannot be fully explained in words. I experienced a massive transformation, and I'm now able to meet my life challenges from a new perspective with courage and confidence, knowing all is OK. I feel a greater connection to myself, to life and to God.

I feel really lucky to have been witnessed and held in such a safe, sacred container. It was so incredible to experience what true holding feels like. As a trained therapist myself I think sometimes holding can be exhausting, but you just keep holding and keep showing up in presence, and it's amazing and inspiring.
Somatic Therapist and Breathwork Facilitator

Founder and Lead Trainer
Keli is no stranger to mind, body and spirit awareness. She first started practicing transcendent meditation at the age of six. Keli is now a Chopra Center Certified Transcendent Meditation (PSM®) Instructor, Conscious Relationship, Uncoupling and Parenting Coach and Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator, Mentor and Trainer.
Keli is also a published author, has professionally studied with Gabor Maté and is the founder of both The Other Side of Average – Therapy for the Soul and the TOSA Method.
Keli has trained, mentored and guided hundreds of breathwork facilitators and organized and lead breathwork retreats/graduation training events around the globe.
Keli's commitment to conscious living has allowed her to raise 3 beautiful children with mindfulness, overcome limiting self-concepts, heal her body of disease, and accomplish pain-free childbirth.
With well over 25 years of both meditation and somatic healing experience, her gift is in holding sacred space and helping you learn and master the three most essential tools that help align you with your soul’s purpose — your essential nature and the truest expression of yourself — all whilst healing and transcending past resentments and stories that have kept you stuck and in pain.
It is then that you experience the miracles and fulfillment of life in every moment and embody the presence to hold safe space for others to evolve beyond their story.
Keli’s philosophy is not to become your guru or healer but rather to hold the space needed for you to bring light to your darkness, helping you awaken the power you already have.
TOSA Practioners
You will also be supported by our awesome TOSA Practitioner Team. These students have completed all four facilitation levels with Keli and have been part of the support at multiple retreats.
FAQs
How do I prepare for the retreat?
First step: make the commitment to yourself and secure your spot on this transformative healing journey — you deserve it! Once you register, you’ll receive a welcome email with all the essential details: the program guide, contact info, your intake form, and helpful tips to get ready.
Second step: book your flights to Nosara Beach Airport (NOB), the closest airport to the retreat, or to Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (aka Liberia International Airport, Costa Rica) — the next closest airport to Playa Azul. We’ll coordinate group transportation options from the airport to the retreat center at an additional cost to make your arrival easy and smooth. More info on this will be shared as the retreat approaches.
Third step: start packing! Playa Azul’s tropical climate means warm days and cooler evenings, especially in the jungle. We suggest light, breathable clothing for the daytime, plus a few layers or a light jacket for evenings. Don’t forget swimwear, comfortable shoes for walking, and any personal items to support your comfort and healing.
What do I need to pack?
Biodegradable sunscreen and insect repellent, swimsuit, sunglasses, a hat, cash for retreat extras (massages, tipping, etc.), water bottle, toiletries, sandals or suitable footwear, a headlamp/torch/flashlight, a towel for the pool, adapter (if from UK/Europe), optional eye mask (for breathwork), a thin blanket or scarf (for breathwork and/or sun protection), journal, and a pen.
You may also wish to bring something special to add to the altar (e.g., crystal, images, small statue, mala, etc.).
Additionally, consider bringing a light rain jacket or poncho for unexpected tropical showers.
Can we drink the tap water?
At Azul Hotel & Retreat, located on the remote Nicoya Peninsula, the tap water is generally not recommended for drinking. While the hotel provides filtered, safe drinking water throughout the retreat, it’s best to avoid drinking directly from the taps to prevent any stomach upset.
We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated with the provided filtered water, supporting both your health and sustainability during your stay.
Do I need to bring my own Yoga mat?
Azul Hotel & Retreat provides yoga mats and essential props for all sessions, so you don’t need to bring your own unless you prefer to use a personal mat for comfort or hygiene reasons.
We also recommend bringing an eye mask and a thin blanket or scarf to enhance your breathwork and meditation experiences.
Can you tell me more about the location?
Our retreat takes place at Azul Hotel & Retreat, a peaceful sanctuary nestled on the remote Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica. Azul is surrounded by lush tropical forests and offers breathtaking ocean views, pristine beaches, and abundant wildlife — the perfect setting for grounding and restoration.
For travel, there are a few airport options to consider:
- Nosara Beach Airport (NOB): The closest airport to the retreat, offering convenient domestic flights.
- Liberia International Airport (LIR): A larger international airport with more flight options, about a 2.5 to 3-hour drive from Azul.
- Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José: While possible, this airport is significantly further away — expect around a 5-hour drive, making it a less convenient choice according to Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
Depending on your arrival airport, transfers can be arranged to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey to Azul.
How will I get to the retreat?
We will assist in organizing group transfers (at an additional cost) from San José International Airport (SJO) or Liberia International Airport (LIR), depending on your arrival location. More details will be shared closer to the retreat date.
For those arranging their own transportation, we will be gathering at Azul Hotel & Retreat on the Nicoya Peninsula between February 9th-16th, 2026.
Is the retreat suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Whether you’ve been on a path of mental, emotional, and spiritual growth for years or are just starting out, this retreat welcomes you. No matter where you are in your journey, it’s for those ready and willing to lean into what’s been holding them back.
A deep desire to heal is key. Through workshops and guided processes—using breathwork, somatic inquiry, and meditation—you’ll be supported to face and feel past pain, stuckness, or trauma, so you can meet the most authentic, whole version of yourself.
Is this a spiritual/religious retreat?
This is not a religious retreat. Instead, it supports the deepening of your personal faith or spiritual path—whatever that may be. We explore universal spiritual truths that transcend any single religion, creating space for all beliefs.
Will there be Wifi?
Azul Hotel & Retreat offers WiFi in the communal areas, but the connection can be limited or slow due to its remote, natural setting. We encourage you to embrace this opportunity to disconnect from technology and fully immerse yourself in the healing experience and the beauty of nature.
Will I be able to drink alcohol on the retreat?
No, this is a dry retreat to support your healing and full presence throughout the experience.
What will the food be like?
You’ll enjoy three delicious, nourishing plant-based meals each day, made with fresh, local ingredients to support your body and healing process. If you have any special dietary needs or allergies, please let us know in advance—we’re happy to accommodate them for an additional fee.
What if I have special dietary requirements?
No worries! We’re happy to accommodate special dietary needs or allergies with advance notice. Please let us know when you sign up so we can ensure your meals suit you perfectly. There may be an additional fee depending on the request.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes, the minimum age to attend is 19 years old. Past retreats have welcomed participants ranging from 19 to 60 years of age, and the shared experiences have shown that, regardless of age, we often face similar challenges and growth opportunities on this healing journey.
What other optional activities are available?
While our retreat schedule is thoughtfully designed to provide ample time for personal reflection and healing, Azul Hotel & Retreat offers a variety of optional activities to enhance your experience during the evenings and free periods:
- Beachfront Massages: Indulge in relaxing massages by the ocean, available upon request.
- Snorkeling & Surfing: Explore the vibrant marine life at nearby San Juanillo Beach through guided snorkeling tours or surfing lessons.

Please note that these activities are optional and may incur additional costs. We recommend checking with the retreat organizers for availability and to ensure they align with the retreat’s schedule.
Can I arrive earlier or stay later than the group?
Yes, it’s possible to arrive early or stay later, but you will need to contact Azul Hotel & Retreat directly to arrange and book any additional days. Please note that the retreat pricing and schedule apply only to the official retreat dates.
