The number of adults and children suffering from stress, anxiety, insomnia and chronic health problems is on the rise—and parents everywhere are searching for ways to truly help themselves and their children thrive. Meditation is a powerful way to do exactly that.
As parents, the need for inner peace and a sense of self is critical, and we can see clearly how important it is to embody these qualities to create connected families and relationships.
Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years. Contrary to a common misperception, it’s not about effort or forcing the mind to be quiet; rather, it's about finding the silence and joy that's already there and making it a part of your life. The more we contact this silence, the more we also heal and transcend past trauma, pain, and dysfunction. Another word for this silence is presence.
